Top 5 places for desserts in Delhi
Because
its Friyaaayy, well it was when I started writing this one! Because I am missing the mountains way too much today! And because
I am in the cheesecake admiration phase, why not share with you my favorite
places for desserts in Delhi.
I
totally abide by ‘Life is short, have desserts first.’ Maybe this is the reason
that most times I have the desserts prior to the main course.
Okay
without much delay, here are my 5 most favorite places for desserts in Delhi.
- Big Chill Café
When
talking about desserts, comfort food, or happy places, Big Chill is the first
choice. You can never make a wrong choice at Big Chill. I’d recommend that when
you visit Big Chill Café next time, relish the desserts before the main course,
and then you’ll know what happiness is all about. I’ve been here innumerable
times, and every time the desserts were heartwarming.

Put
away the confusion of chocolate or ice cream with Toblerone ice cream. If you
are an ice cream lover, then you should not miss this.

- Diggin

Love at first sight... Be your own sunshine Sometimes you just have to let go... |
Desserts
at Diggin are epic ambrosial. The first time I went with bae, and he treated me
to Tiramisu. It was just what life needs, a heavenly amalgamation of desserts
and coffee. The strawberry cheesecake is great, the cream cheese being fresh
and very well flavored. And last but not the least is the deadly Banoffee Pie,
my favorite (even more than the Tiramisu). Banana, toffee sauce, chocolate and
endless happiness, what else do you need!

- Rose Café
If
you want to spend happy time with friends, family or even yourself, then Rose Café
is the place to be. The décor would instantly cheer you up, the service is
amazing and the desserts are the best! (No, the bacon tarts are the best
actually). And a great part is that they have recently come up with a vegan
menu as well.

Tangy Lemon Cake, Rose Cafe Sundae and Brownie
Apple Pie
|
At
Rose Café you have a variety of freshly baked cakes, ice creams and sundaes. I’ve
been here quite a few times and every time it has been a great experience. Apple
Pie is enticingly delicious. The warm gooey apples and crumble served with
vanilla ice cream have the superpower to take away all the pain. Tangy lemon
cake is zesty, moist and succulent. Espresso Cake has a very strong flavor of
coffee, which I personally didn’t like. Rose Café Sundae is my favoritessst… It
has brownie, vanilla ice cream, chocolate fudge and the irresistible caramel
sauce.
- Wenger’s
The
list would be incomplete without the evergreen Wenger’s. It is a delight to be
at Wenger’s and the best part is that they have maintained the quality. Kudos to
that! When at Wenger’s don’t miss their amazingly cute macaroons, chocolate
tart is to die for, fruit tart is another gem and of course the chocolate
truffle, liquor chocolates, butterscotch cake…

They
also have a huge choice of savory dishes – chicken patty, shami kebab, and
vegetable patty being the most famous.
- Café Turtle
Apart
from these 5 places I also love the following –
Waffles
at Depot 29 – Safdarjung Enclave
