May Favorites

Hi everyone!
Half the year has just whooshed past and how??? I have been busy with work and that's why a bit late for the monthly favorites post. But like they say better late than never.
Without much delay, let’s start today’s journey – it is time for my May Favorites….
Sneak Peek into May Favorites!

Real Techniques Mini Brush Set

Real Techniques needs no introduction, we all swear by it. I laid my hands on this brush set in one of the recent Amazon sales and I’ve been using them quite a lot all through May. Super soft and so easy to work with. The foundation brush blends the foundation like a dream.
Very cute and very useful!
Although they are mini, but they do their job perfectly. Also very easy to carry around in your bag. My favorite is the lovely face brush which is the perfect companion for a compact powder. Gives a brilliant effect!
If you are looking for a basic brush set, then I would totally recommend these.

Chambor Liquid Lipstick

Everybody has been raving about the Chambor liquid lipsticks. So I thought let’s find out what the hype is. Mine is Shade 403, a lovely bright poppy fuchsia with cool undertones. (If you still don’t know, I lovveeee fuchsia)
Fuchsia Love :)

Super pigmented; stays on your lips for long; survives a meal and most importantly looks gorgeous. What else do you want from a lipstick? Available in 18 shades, so you can go and pick one (or many) of your choice.

The Body Shop Body Puree – Vineyard Peaches

On a mini Bodyshop haul earlier in May I got the heavenly vineyard Peaches body puree. It smells divine. Trust me, it is the exact fragrance of sweet peaches…sooo romantic.

The good thing is that the fragrance is not overpowering, but lingers on. Fruity, summery and lovely…
The formulation is great for summers. Gets absorbed easily without leaving a greasy residue. Hydrates and moisturizes the skin very well, just what you need in summers.

Himalaya Herbals Cocoa Lip Balm

What do you do when you crave caramel cheesecake in the middle of the night? You apply Himalaya Herbals Cocoa lip balm. OMG, it is delicious (if you can understand what I mean).
It moisturizes the lips pretty well and has a sweet caramel like taste and fragrance. The natural color is a big advantage, you can wear it under the lipsticks as well.

The only thing that you need to be careful is that it is super soft and creamy. It might just crack at the bottom, so be very careful.

Infused Water

It’s scorching hot and we must keep ourselves hydrated. I usually forget to abide by the rule of ‘Drink a lot of water’. So mom and I thought of making it interesting. We tried infused water and have loved it. It is very easy to make and I am sure you'll also love it.
So preeedddyy! Powerhouse of goodness and great thirst quenchers in summers.

You can add lemon slices, mint leaves, cucumber wedges, and any fruit of your choice. My favorite is watermelon and lemon infused water.
That's how I party on lazy weekends :)
Let the water soak up all the goodness of the ingredients for a couple of hours and then you are ready to sip. It is a great way to detoxify your skin and system. You feel refreshed and less bloated as well.

The Snowman – Jo Nesbo

This has been one of the most epic reads of recent past. It was such a refreshing change from the YA and fairy tale romances that I was drowned in. It’s a bone chilling murder mystery about serial killings in Oslo. I was super scared at a lot of places.

Cannot thank my friend, Aakriti Mahajan enough for this. Cabbieeee thanks a lot J
Horrific, thrilling and gripping, The Snowman is the perfect example of a page turner. It scares you and yet you cannot get enough of it. Certainly going in my best books of 2016 list.

Let me know what all have you been loving in May.
See you soonish
