Current Skincare Favorites

Skincare is something that a lot of us take seriously. Thankfully this lockdown period has given most of us some extra time to focus on skincare and self-love. Today I thought I’ll share some of my current skincare favorites with you all. With various online sales going you can buy these and save some money as well. So let’s dive straight into it…..

  • The Face Shop Herbday 365 Cleanser – Peach

The Face Shop is one brand that never disappoints and you can surely find something for your skin type. The Peach foaming cleanser has become one of my favorite face washes. True to its name it foams up amazingly, is gentle on the skin, and doesn’t strip off moisture. It doesn’t have an overpowering fragrance which is a plus point as well.

Hello peachy!

It is suitable for all skin types, and you can also try other variants like aloe and lemon. Highly recommend this! Another good thing is that it’s such a huge tube and you just need a tiny amount, so it’ll for months.

Price – Rs. 300/- for 170 ml

  • Clinique Moisture Surge 72 – Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator

Clinique Moisture Surge is one of the most popular moisturizers. Its light gel-like texture and consistency is perfect for all skin types. You can use it under make-up and it’ll not make your skin oily or greasy. The best part is that it’s an all-season moisturizer, not very heavy in summers and not less in winters.

Much loved and much used - one of my all time faaav moisturizers....

It is an investment, so you can definitely try the smaller size and see the results and how it fairs for your skin.

Price – Rs. 890/- for 15 ml

  • O3 + Plunge Watermelon Glow Mask

True to its name, this luscious mask became an instant favorite. It smells divine and has a gel-like consistency. It hydrates your skin, moisturizes it, and gives that natural glow. The best part is that it’s suitable for all skin types and is very relaxing. Unlike other masks, this one is fairly easy to apply and wash off.

Price – Rs. 740/-

Perfect for a relaxing day!

  • The Body Shop Exfoliating Sugar Body Scrub – Mango

Cannot be a skincare post without mentioning The Body Shop. This exfoliating scrub is perfect to buff your skin and get rid of dead skin and flaky skin. The fragrance is delish and lingers on.

Smells like mango ice-cream and leaves your skin creamy soft!

The tiny sugar granules are the perfect size, which means they aren’t harsh on the skin and melt with a few rubs. And the oil seeps in your skin leaving it moisturized and dewy. I recommend you use it with the exfoliating gloves by TBS for that extra glow.

Price – Rs. 1145/- for 250 ml

  • St. Ives Energizing Coconut &Coffee Scrub

After body scrub let’s move on to face scrub. The highlight is of course the amazing coffee fragrance. It’s gritty and exfoliates deeply, so I would recommend you use it once a week. Use a tiny amount and go with super gentle strokes. I have sensitive skin and this does leave my skin slightly red and inflamed just after use. Just after the scrub, I prefer to use a sheet mask for that extra hydration and cooling. For the price, it’s quite a steal because you just need a pea-sized amount and it works beautifully.

If you’re looking for a scrub for deep exfoliation that’s affordable, does the job well, and doesn’t strip off the moisture from your skin, do give this one a try.

Price – Rs. 399/- for 170 gm

Let me know if you have tried any of these and what are your holy grail skincare products! Don’t forget to subscribe to the blog before you leave….See you soon……
