The Great Book Haul

You know what is better than being at the Book Fair? Writing a blog about it!
The ultimate feeling of being surrounded by so many books is totally whimsical. It is a like a big slice of heaven. For me World Book Fair 2015 was the highlight of February, the month of love. I adopted 14 babies and they are now safely tucked on my bookshelf.

Jodi Picoult

The sheer excitement of seeing a book that you always wanted to read, or the one that you have already read and secretly say a ‘Hi’ to, is something that you must experience.

Being at the book fair is synonymous with overflow of emotions. Excitement or rather uncontrolled excitement on seeing books, books and more books; sorrow – because you want to read them all, but as they say ‘So many books! So little time’.

Finding fellow book junkies overwhelms you with joy and fervor. The boy in the black hoodie who bought 7 books and 2 mugs at the Penguin stall today, and who I helped holding his books – if you are reading this, a big Hi! with a bigger and brighter blush!
I am more than happy to find some cuties that were on my ‘to-read’ list since ages and also other cuties that came like a pleasant surprise.

One hall to another – halt – stall 2 – halt – back to previous hall – coffee break – stall 23 – book admiration break!

Also a big thank you to ‘bae’ for an almost perfect date and holding, yes just holding the books. If only you could sponsor at least 1 of them. Well, remember it for next time.
Half of 2015 looks sorted, blissful and rocking with my new found treasure.

Admiration and impatience galore :)
