4 Chinar...4 Pahaad...

With rain by the window pane, melodious Bengali music as the perfect background score I am sipping this delicious Assam black tea and trying to a find a canvas for my thoughts. Yet another mountain love experience that I have been engulfed by!

Blogging Essentials
4 Chinar – I wish to see them soon. Kashmir vacation has been pending in the bucket since the longest time ever.
4 Pahaad – The pretty mountains I’ve visited in the past few years, memories of which still make my heart warm with love and the fragrance of eucalyptus. (Okaayy the eucalyptus was just a fancy addition). The four of my favorite mountain destinations of the last few years are – Manali, Kandaghat, Binsar and Kanatal.

I was in Manali discussing about the feel of being in the mountains. There is a raw romance in the crisp mountain breeze. From the first time I visited this little heaven a decade ago to now, the one that remains intact is the beauty. And of course the superpower that it has to transport you into a musing phase.
चलो तुमको लेकर चलें हम उन फ़िज़ाओं में,
जहाँ मीठा नशा है तारों की छाओं में॥
The mountains are all the same – rigid, strong and head held high; but their soul varies.
They are home to most stunning sunset and the prettiest sunrise.

Kanatal prettiness says Good Morning!
Those meandering roads and the ‘I walk a lonely road’ nature trails!

Binsar wilderness
Not to forget the brightest and the happiest winter sun.

Sometimes you enjoy the sunshine, and sometimes you just have to be your own sunshine...

And the roadside dhaba chai and pakode with the majestic view of the dainty mountain town, bubbling rivers and sun kissed peaks.

Can never get enough of such gorgeous view!

Dad gorging yummy pakodas :)

Hoping that the 4 Chinaar scene happens soon and the pahaad scene continues for the longest time ever.
