March Favorites

Hi everyone!

It has been a long time since I last did a monthly favorites post, so I thought it would be a great idea to get back to it.
My favorites that I’ve absolutely loved in the month of March are listed below.

  • Plum Body Lotion

Plum Goodness is an upcoming beauty brand with an amazing variety of products.
Throughout March I’ve loved the Plum wild cherries & kiwi luscious body lotion. Keeping up its name, it is luscious and heavenly.

The formulation is creamy but not thick and sticky making it perfect for summers as well. The fragrance is soooo good, you can distinctly smell cherries and kiwi. It moisturizes very well, gets absorbed quickly and leaves a faint fruity fragrance.
Price – 390/- for 200ml which is quite affordable

  • Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel

I’ve been using it since about a month or so, and it is pretty good. Wash your face with an exfoliating face wash and then apply the gel all over your face, especially under the eyes. When you apply it, it does feel sticky for a couple of minutes but then magically gets absorbed into the skin.
The consistency is just right – neither too runny nor too thick. It’s natural so you get all the goodness of aloe vera. There is an added fragrance.
It leaves your skin feeling supple and soft. Include it in your night time skin care routine and you can thank me later.
Price – 150/- for 150 ml

  • Maybelline Super Stay Gel Nail Color – Bubble Gum

Spring is all about happy colors and this pretty nail polish from Maybelline is just that.
It is a pretty pink color with blue undertones. The formulation is nice and gel like. It will give an opaque look in two coats. A special mention to the flat rounded brush.

It says the staying power is 7 days with top coat touch ups. Sadly for me it didn’t stay for 7 days. By the end of 4th day it started chipping at the tips and lost the sheen.
Nevertheless I still love it and I am sure you’ll love it too. There are pastel corals, mints and bright pinks in the range.
Price – 350/-

  • The Body Shop Born Lippy Lip Balm

March wasn’t a very happening month and maybe that’s why I stuck to the basics. It is no surprise that TBS products never disappoint. The Body Shop Born Lippy Lychee Lip Balm is amazing. It has no color, just a hint of shimmer. The texture is creamy but not very heavy on the lips. It hydrates and moisturizes the lips very well and the fragrance is yummy.

Comes in a stick form making it handy and easy to use. Price – 395/-
Big thumbs up for this little one!

  • Journey under the Midnight Sun

Since the past couple of months I have only been reading YAs and romance. This was a pleasant and much needed change.

Keigo Higashino is a master storyteller. I loved Salvation of a Saint and Devotion of Suspect X.
This one also is a great read. Full of suspense and thrill, with lots of twists and turns to keep you hooked. If you love Japanese literature and crime novels, then this will not disappoint you.
