Life is like a sinusoidal curve. If there are peaks, there has to be a deep depression as well. Although we all want to live in a fictional world, but it is essential to accept the realities of life.

Top 6 Happy Reads

  • Eleanor & Park (Rainbow Rowell)

There hasn’t been a single book post on the blog where I don’t talk about my love for Rainbow Rowell.
Some books stay with you forever, this is one of them...
Eleanor & Park is the ultimate sugary read. Toe curling romance, melt in each other’s arms romance, sun-kissed romance…basically lots of romance.
  • Handle with Care (Jodi Picoult)

This was the first Jodi Picoult book I read and it was love at first page.
Happy tears :')
It is so heart breaking yet so positive and full of warmth. Traditional writing style makes it loveable. Relationship ties, uncertainty, responsibilities, and decisions that affect us have been depicted brilliantly.
  • Me Before You (Jojo Moyes)

Nobody gets mush on point better than Jojo Moyes. There is an undercurrent of sadness, so you need to keep tissues handy. But it is filled with gooey feels.
Lipstick love, Kindle love, Tan love....Lots of love
You should definitely read this before watching the film. The trailer looks so promising, I hope it does justice to the book.
  • Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda (Becky Albertalli)

The teenage love emotion made me feel like a teenager and I loved that feel. Read it for the love exchanges between Jacques and Blue, for the super cool parents, for feeling love and seeing how supportive friends is what life needs.
Weekend Vibes on point!
  • The Lover’s Dictionary (David Levithan)

It’s been quite some time since I read this and I plan to re-read it soonish. Let me tell you it was amaaazing!
Because there can be never romance and strawberries!
The writing style was unique and of course gyaan on love and life is always welcome. It’s a love story in the form of a dictionary – how epic is that?
  • Summer at the Lake (Erica James)

The Italian setting, the age old love story lost in time, the new love story waiting to shine, and the joyous summer mood, it has this all and a lot more. Read it to find out what that is…
The little nuances and the casual writing style will melt your heart.
Totally judging the book by its cover ;)
PS – It is a little slow.

Let me know if you have read any of these or are planning to read them soon.

And don’t forget ‘Despite the forecast, Live like its spring…’
