The week that was!

The past couple of weeks have been hectic workwise. Deadline to be met, word limits to be followed, to-do lists to be ticked! But the good thing is that I am doing what I like and I like what I do!

But despite the work and all, I could steal away some time for the delayed Mother’s Day treat at our favorite Rose Café. The vintage feel, pretty décor, positive vibes and of course melt in the mouth bacon tarts added a lot of charm.

We watched Piku on Thursday. What a happy and refreshing film it is. And the effortlessly cool Deepika Padukone looks so glamorous. Easy breezy palazzos and cotton kurtis are perfect for Delhi summer. Girls, take notes on ‘simple is the new chic’. The film and its underlying inspiration that you should plan a road trip was phenomenal. Okay…now let us get back to work and life.

To end the week and celebrate almost weekend, I headed for a mini make-up haul. Nail polishes, lippies, BB cream, face pack, face wash, pretty little bindis  and new bed sheets made me super happy! 

Spring Blossoms!

Saturday this week was stay in bed, gossip with ma, cuddle up and click selfies with Romeo and of course read a lot. And talking to this special college friend (who has become part south Indian and eats bhindi in gravy) opened the ‘yaadon ka pitara’.

Planning the next week and deciding what to read next were major tasks done on Sunday!
