July TBR

Reading slump is always bad, but reading slump in unwell times is the worst thing for a bibliophile. And considering this gloomy weather, the combination is even sadder. But the best way to balance the romance of the rain and gloomy grays is to get started with an interesting read.

With the July TBR, all on the kindle, I plan to kick away the reading slump and be back in action. Let's jump right into it then....

  • When We Collided – Emery Lord

A lot of bookstagrammers on Instagram have been raving about this one since quite some time now. So I wanted to know what the hype is all about.

It’s a YA contemporary romance – all the elements that make me go weak in the knees. Love, life, and how to emerge stronger, all this and a lot more is promised. I have my hopes high.

  • Coffeehouse Angel – Suzzane Selfors

Coffeehouse Angel has been on my TBR shelf since the longest time. Recently when it was on discount, I knew I had to get this. Books and coffee! well what else can one ask in life.

Coffee and Books!
When coffee and compassion meet, something great is bound to happen. Get your coffee fix with this gem (that’s what I’ve heard).

  • Seed –Ania Ahlborn

That feeling when you read a psychological thriller and just cannot get enough of it. The Snowman by Jo Nesbo created that for me last month. Here's the review, if you're interested to know more.

Happiness :)
Since then I wanted to read something gory and gruesome. Seed was a Goodreads recommendation. It is a mix of thriller and horror genre and I am so looking forward to reading this one.

  • Things We Know by Heart – Jessi Kirby

Last in the list is Things We Know by Heart. Saw this on Instagram and it instantly struck a chord in my booknerd heart.
Fridayaaayy Feel!
Thankfully the Goodreads reviews are great and the kindle sample I read was also quite nice. YA, sadness, romance - the perfect combination for rains (which are missing in Delhi).

If you’ve read any of these, share your reviews and also let me know what are you planning to read this monsoon.

See you soonishh!
