The Body Shop Haul and Reviews

Hi everyone!

Apologies for being MIA. Mood swings galore and just that phase when you’re not interested in anything. But retail therapy always works. And thanks to the sale season to make my spirits high and account balance low!

A few days back I splurged in the Body Shop Sale. These are the things I bought and mini reviews.
Bag full of happiness :)
PS – This is not a paid/sponsored post. It is my sheer love for TBS!

  • Strawberry Beautifying Oil

I was intrigued by the concept of beautifying oils, so thought of giving it a try. You can use this oil on your face, hair, and all over your body. Smells divine!!

Say yes to oiling your hair!!
It’s light, non-greasy and moisturizes pretty well. Since it’s a dry oil you can easily massage it on your arms and legs without feeling too sticky. The fragrance lingers for a couple of hours on your body. It stays much longer on your hair even after washing.

Love oiling my hair with this super fragrant oil. Trust me, champi never felt so good. It gives my hair a natural shine and makes them quite soft. The only sad part is that it doesn’t do much for the frizz. But nonetheless, I love it.

Price – 1095/- for 100 ml

  • Vitamin E Moisture Cream

I like the way TBS always gives sample sachets. I got this cream as one of the sample and the minute I used it, I knew I am purchasing this.

The highlight is the amazzzing fragrance. It is so good. I cannot explain what kind of fragrance it is, sniff it the next time you are in the store and you’ll know what I am saying. This particular variant is a day cream for daily protection and moisturization.

It suits all skin types, is light, hydrating and highly moisturizing. Gets absorbed quickly without leaving a greasy residue. I’ve been using the cream for about 3 weeks now and it does nourish the skin really well.

There is a night cream as well in this range. You can use a combination of the two for greater benefit.

Price – 995/- for 50 ml

  • Banana Shampoo and Conditioner

Have heard and read so many good things about this range, the sale was the perfect chance to stock these up. I have naturally wavy and frizzy hair and wanted something to tame the frizz and make my hair smooth.

The fragrance reminds me of Banoffee Pie!!
Banana is a great ingredient for all hair types. But the hassle of making a banana hair pack is immense. Totally loving the shampoo and conditioner. The fragrance is OMG heavenly! It smells majorly of banana, but there is an undertone of honey and coconut milk. Sweet, refreshing and very tempting. I almost wanted to gulp it down (it’s that good). A bottle of goodness I must say!

Covertly flaunting December Breeze as well!
The texture is very creamy and thick, almost like a banana smoothie. Specifically for the conditioner, it seems its pureed bananas in the bottle.

Makes my hair soft and silky. The fragrance lingers on, which is a big yayyy! It’s lightly moisturizes and is not at all drying, so that’s a good thing as well.
If you’re a banana fan, you’ll certainly go bananas over this range.
