July Favorites

Hi everyone!

Back with another monthly favorite post. July was a dull gloomy month. I was steeped in holiday hangover and sushi craving. Hoping August brings specks of sunshine and happiness. And of course sushiii!

So here are my July Favorites

And that's my article in Cat & Kittens Magazine!

  • Innisfree Hand Cream
Innisfree is a leading Korean skin care brand and OMG they are amazing. Such a wide variety of skin care that you go bonkers in the store.

Focusing on the hand cream, I have the Jeju Peach variant. It was a gift from a super dear friend (The bride to be, I Loveeee Youu!)

Bedside essentials.
It has a floral peachy fragrance. Hydrates and moisturizes your hands pretty well. It’s a cute looking packaging and very handy, so you can easily carry it in your handbag.

The best thing is that it doesn’t leave your hands sticky. If you also get dry hands like me, this is a good option. It is available in a variety of fragrances.

  • Aroma Magic Aromatherapy Oil

Aromatherapy blended curative oil in an easy to use roll on this will remind you of the mountains. When you walk in the mountains, the sweet pleasant fragrance that lingers on and engulfs you in a cloud of happiness, that’s what the fragrance resembles.

Mountain Love!
It comes in a glass bottle, so you need to be a little careful. The fragrance is soothing and quite strong (in a good way), so you just need 1 -2 swipes. You can use it on your temples, forehead and even your pillow.

Love, Peace, Mountains!
It won’t work magically. Just a relaxing way to calm your senses after a long tiring day! If you are a mountain soul trapped in the concrete jungle, then this can be your little escape.

  • Maybelline Falsies Mascara

I switched to Maybelline Falsies Mascara from Maybelline HyperCurl and what a switch it has been. HyperCurl Mascara wasn’t working well for me, it made my lashes looked so clumpy.

Fluttering eyelashes made all the more awesome!
The Falsies Mascara though works quite nicely. Use an eyelash curler before applying this mascara and you can thank me later. The wand is amazing, very fine. This one is water proof and smudge proof, making it perfect for this season.
Love it to bits!

  • Lotus Herbals Fruit Face Pack

As much as I love admiring the rain from the balcony, I hate it because the rains leave my skin looking dull and oily.

Watching the rain drops dance!
This is a normal fruit pack, nothing too fancy. It works best after gently exfoliating your skin with a scrub.

Give your skin the much needed pampering...
Your skin feels refreshed, rejuvenated, squeaky clean and just a little dry. You can use a moisturizer and it’ll be okay.
If you have very dry skin, this isn’t for you. The fragrance is mild, which is a good thing.

  • When We Collided

This was the best thing to have happened in July. I cannot stop raving about this oh! so amazing book.

Lazy Sunday Vibes!
Certainly one of the best YAs I have read in a long time. If you are a fan of heartwarming, fuzzy reads, then this is your cup of hot chocolate. You can find out more about this jewel here.

I also loved a few The Body Shop products. Talked about them here.

Planning a lot of interesting posts for this month. Stay tuned for them, while I keep my fingers crossed that everything falls into place.

Hope y’all have a great month! Love XOXO
